About Us

The Southern Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative, and profits are returned to members in the form of higher dividend rates on savings, lower rates on loans, and in some cases, no fees on various services and products. Owned by its members and governed by a member-elected board of directors, the Southern Credit Union has long established itself as a provider of numerous low-cost services. The products/services now available include several types of deposit accounts, a full complement of consumer loans, a complete line of mortgage-related loan products, and ATM and internet banking. Each branch offers all the amenities expected of a full-service financial institution, and the Credit Union strives to provide unparalleled service to each member.
