About Us

The Newnan Coweta Humane Society (NCHS), is a private, non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated t helping sick, injured, newborn, and senior, abandoned and/or abused animals find loving homes. NCHS funds medical care, vaccinations, owner identification chipping, and Spay Neuter services for all animals in our care. NCHS supports an extensive foster network and arranges adoptions for over 250 pets per year.
NCHS operates a Pet Pantry/Food Bank, which supplies less fortunate families in our community with pet food, medicines, and supplies, helping them properly care for and keep their pets despite financial hardships --- helping an average of 100+ families and over 350 pets per month.
NCHS also sponsors an extensive county-wide spay neuter effort which provides professional medical services for an average of over 400 animals per year.
