About Us

In 1990, friends and family encouraged Doug Davidson to launch his own construction firm. New South's first client was Delta Air Lines, and he cold-called prospects such as Coca-Cola about their construction needs. Soon, Coca-Cola called and said another construction firm failed to respond on a project, adding steel supports to several levels on the main parking deck and re-grouting them with concrete. New South worked at night and cleaned up before sunrise in order not to inconvenience employees.

Today, New South leads the joint venture to renovate Coca-Cola's North Avenue campus. New South's philosophy is, ''Do what you say you will do, when you say you will do it, and do it right the first time.''
